Interested in Sullivan furniture designs/drawings, etc.

I did a Sullivan pilgrimage several years ago and so it was fun to revisit some of those sites.  I was somewhat pissed off (can I say that?) to discover an urn, planter, what ever from his bank in Algona IA, in Tom Monahan's Dominos Pizza World Headquarters in Ann Arbor MI.  Great example of 'cultural vandalism", if you are looking for one.

Anyway, thanks for the great Sullivan stuff.  eek

Glad someone is taking care of our great architectural heritage.  Let's hope we don't loose the Louis Sullivans of this country.

My fraternity in Madison, WI is a Louis Sullivan residential house and I am looking for some architecural drawings (like plans) suitable for framing. Anyone know of a source of Louis Sullivan work or photos?  I have considered Frank Lloyd Wright items of same, but almost puked after learning of what a loser he was to his wife and family. I'd rather the man took care of his family than give us the gift of his design. -tg

We are reasonably certain our home was done by George Washington Maher, and have been told that he and Louis Sullivan were drinking buddies at the Chicago Athletic Club. Any confirmation of this in your research?
